Paintvine is a fun painting experience available in several venues in 10 cities around Aotearoa New Zealand. The venue provides the apron, the paint, the canvas and some teachers.  There are options to create your own painting or join in a group activity.

Online courses are a new addition to the services provided by the Participatory City Foundation. 

This foundation is a charity working for the benefit of the people living in Barking and Dagenham, East London.  

In the UK there is a Parent Champions National Network. There are 50 schemes across the country and about 300 parents volunteering.

Parent Champions are parent volunteers who give a few hours a week to talk to other parents about the local services available to families.  

The Parent Champions model is delivered by parents for parents, with the support of a local authority, children’s centre, school or local community organisation.

The Matipo Community Development Charitable Trust garden and education centre has won the Supreme Award at the Trustpower National Community Awards.

The gardens were established in 2013 in a formerly derelict part of Whanganui by the late Black Power Leader Craig Rippon. Since then Housing New Zealand has provided a renovated house which acts as an education hub and over 50 people have taken part in education. They started with literacy classes, and moved on to Horticulture as well as construction apprenticeships.

It was started in South Auckland in 2015 by The Cause Collective (formerly known as the Alliance Community Initiatives Trust - ACIT) to connect young Pasifika people to health services. Since then Do Good Feel Good has developed into a movement for Pasifika wellbeing and it is in the process of expanding from a strictly youth focus, to one that involves older adults too.
