About the workshop
Effective adult educators continually reflect on their practice, explore new approaches and respond to the changing needs of learners and communities.
This interactive Masterclass provides an opportunity to build on existing teaching knowledge and experience through practical activities, collaborative learning and critical reflection.
Participants will explore adult learning theories and consider how these can inform the design and delivery of high-quality learning experiences. The workshop encourages educators to examine their teaching beliefs, share challenges and successes, and consider alternative approaches to everyday teaching situations.
Drawing on the ACE Teaching Standards, the Masterclass explores how educators can strengthen learner-centred practice, integrate innovative teaching approaches and create learning environments that are inclusive, culturally responsive and supportive of diverse learners.
Through discussion, practical challenges, peer learning and reflective activities, participants will develop ideas and strategies they can apply to their own teaching contexts.
