Europe's targets for lifelong learning

A press release from th European Commission on 25 January 2018 announced the start of the 1st European Education Summit. Eighteen EU Ministers as well as hundreds of professionals came together to discuss the broad theme, Laying the Foundations of a European Education Area: for an innovative , inclusive and values-based education.

Europe already has targets for participation in lifelong learning which they see as vital if their countries are to prosper in a changing world.

Five online tools good for not-for-profits

Beyond the more commonly known online tools, Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox, LinkedIn and Mailchimp, here are five other online tools that are free and easy to use.

The International Council for Adult Education in cooperation with DVV International, is promoting a debate and dialogue on selected articles from DVV International's journal Adult Education and Development.

In the latest issue of Adult Education and Development, authors from all over the world discuss the many facets of "inclusion and diversity". They write about their own identity, discuss the changes needed to create inclusive societies and adult education systems, and present concrete "inclusive" methods of adult education.
