Is your organisation interested in achieving the ACE Quality Assurance Quality Mark? This practical one-hour session is for ACE providers who want to understand the steps involved and get started.
The ACE QA Framework is a tool to help your organisation see how well it is doing, find areas to improve and plan next steps. It is built on the values of rangatiratanga, manaakitanga and whanaungatanga, and the guiding principle of ako. It fits organisations of any size.
The Quality Mark is formal recognition that your organisation meets the standard of a quality learning organisation. It tells learners, funders and communities that you have good practice in place.
Using self-assessment to show good practice
At the heart of the Quality Mark is organisational self-assessment. Rather than a compliance exercise, it is a chance to look at what you already do well, gather the evidence, and plan improvements. It is about quality, not compliance.
In this session you will:
- Learn what the ACE QA Framework is and how it works
- Understand what the Quality Mark is and why it matters
- See the steps to achieve the Quality Mark
- Learn how to use self-assessment to review your organisation
- Find out what counts as good evidence, and where to find it
- Learn how to build a simple improvement plan
- Bring your questions and leave with clear next steps
Who should attend
Managers, coordinators, governance members and staff from ACE providers who are thinking about, or already working towards, the Quality Mark.
