In their workshop Peter Foaese and Robbie Guevara explored the new Sustainable Development Goals, in particular the Education Goal 4, which provides us with the opportunity to advance the concept and practice of lifelong learning but which needs to be situated within the realities of the local, the lived experiences of young people and the mandates of our respective institutions. Peter and Robbie propose to draw on and build on the key outcomes of the ASEM Conference on Lifelong Learning conducted in Melbourne in December 2015.
