The purpose of this fund is to progress the implementation of the ACE Professional Adult and community education organisation's views about successful strategies for diversity and engagement

ACE Aotearoa signs MOU with Ako Aotearoa - 5 November 2008

Margie Scotts, CEO, ACE Aotearoa signs a MOU with Peter Coolbear, CEO, Ako Aotearoa. The MOU establishes a collaborative relationship between ACE Aotearoa and Ako Aotearoa in order to enhance the coordination of professional development to the sector.
CONFINTEA VI Asia & Pacific Regions Preparatory Conference 6-8 October 2008
Hosted by the Republic of Korea, Seoul

We received regular reports from NZ's representatives at the CONFINTEA VI Asia and Pacific Region Preparatory Conference “Building Equitable and Sustainable Societies in Asia and Pacific: the Challenge to Adult Learning”, 6 – 8 October 2008 in Seoul (Republic of Korea).
In the welcome address on behalf of UNESCO Director General the PricewaterhouseCoopers Economic Valuation of ACE Outcomes report, commissioned by ACE Aotearoa, was cited with emphasis to its valuation of sector contribution. This is most impressive and an honour for New Zealand.
