Graduate or equivalent
Description:
People who facilitate adult learning in a wide variety of contexts such as tertiary institutions, community or vocational organizations, one-to-one, staff development and informal and support groups.
Pre-Requisites:
You must also be currently employed in adult education or have access to adult learners, in order to fulfil the practical requirements of the programme. Pre-requisites include a degree, diploma, or two years (minimum) practical, professional or scholastic experience or knowledge in a subject area.
Structure:
You must complete 120 credits including at least 75 credits at 300-level and all papers in Schedule One.
200 hours of adult or tertiary teaching is required, which can be completed while studying the papers or can be retrospective.

Schedule Two
Any three papers approved at 200- or 300-level from the BEd Schedules.
Endorsement qualifications available in TESOL by completing two specified papers as part of Schedule Two
Cross credit from other courses (such as recognised CATs) may be possible.
Duration:
One year full-time, part-time over a few years.
