Description:

Maori Immersion degree for teaching te reo Maori to adult students. There is an emphasis on teaching within the kaupapa of Te Ataarangi and classes will be conducted mostly in Maori.

Pre-Requisites:

Oral and written fluency in Maori language and computer literacy are course requirements.  Candidates will be interviewed by the Programme Co-ordinator.

Structure:

A three year degree programme to prepare you for teaching te reo Maori to adult students in an immersion setting with an emphasis on teaching within the kaupapa of Te Ataarangi. See website for a full list of papers offered within the degree

Three years full-time via distance education online plus four week-long noho marae (live- ins)
