Draft Declaration of Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
At the 2007 AGM a Draft Declaration of Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi was made available. As the introduction states;
"This Declaration of Commitment has been prepared by ACE Aotearoa to be discussed, debated and developed by members of ACE Aotearoa and the wider Adult and Community Education sector. It is written with the hope that it will be viewed like a spring,Te Puna,enabling Te Tiriti o Waitangi to bubble up from the ground of Aotearoa and trickle out across the land. It is written with the recognition that from listening comes learning and that open and ongoing relationships and dialogue are critical in our ability to demonstrate our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi."
