Collaborative Activities Project
The Collaborative Activities Project Grants were allocated in 2011. ACE Aotearoa is waiting to hear from the Tertiary Education Commission regarding rollover of the CAP funding for 2012.
Submissions to the Collaborative Activities Project grants closed on Friday 4 November 2011. We received 34 applications to the fund. The total amount available for allocation was $145,000.00. The total amount applied for was $779,230.27.
The selection panel met Thursday November 24 to consider applications. All applicants were advised by Wednesday 30 November, of the outcome of their application.
10 applications were approved and a total of $144,300.00 was successfully allocated to the following organisations and projects:

| Mangere East Community Learning Centre | To develop sustainable partnerships in Mangere East community. High Pacific and Māori engagement | $5,000.00 |
| Te Aroha Noa Community Services Trust | To develop a flexible learning programme that supports high learner engagement and achievement. | $5,000.00 |
| Logan Park High School and The Methodist Mission | To establish network of community based programmes of intergenerational literacy for young mothers. | $30,000.00 |
| Nayland College Community Education | To develop strategy for sustainable collaborative learning partnerships in Nelson. | $5,000.00 |
| Christchurch ACE Network | To develop strategy for reconnecting sustainable collaborative relationships across Christchurch | $20,000.00 |
| Tairawhiti ACE Network | To develop Tairawhiti ACE networks in Gisborne and develop wider networks for Māori in ACE nationwide. | $28,000.00 |
| ACE Taranaki Network | To establish relationship with Marfell School, Taranaki, to provide learning access for parents/guardians. | $4,300.00 |
| Literacy Aotearoa Inc | To establish sustainable nationwide network of Māori and Pasifika, improving financial literacy skills. | $30,000.00 |
| REAP Marlborough | To develop relationship with Marlborough Boys/Girls High School working with Pasifika families. | $12,000.00 |
| Whanganui Community Education Service | To scope and build collaborative partnerships in Whanganui, with District Council. | $5,000.00 |

Collaborative Governance Model

Collaborative Activities Framework
The Collaborative Activities Framework, agreed by the Project Oversight Group (members are: Dr Airini, Peter Coolbear, Bronwyn Yates, Erana Brewerton, Deleraine Puhara, Pale Sauni, Peter McNeur – Chair), co-authored by Venture Group New Zealand and ACE Aotearoa and approved by TEC for initial (to December) implementation.
